Best wishes to Ward 9 Councilman Miguel Luna, who’s resting up at home after a recent operation. Luna’s been a tireless advocate for living-wage jobs, affordable housing, renewable energy, and basic civil liberties during his four years on the council. He’s a regular on the picket lines, was a plaintiff in last year’s successful local-hiring lawsuit against the city, and is chairman of Providence’s Workers Rights Board. He’s also just about the most lovable human being on the face of the planet. Good luck getting back up on your feet as soon as possible—we need you in there, fighting for us.
