Matt Obert and Brooke Erin Goldstein are getting married, and you're invited to their engagement announcement party!

The goal of the Urban Curators project is to engage the public in the celebration of the decaying urban environment, recognizing its inherent aesthetic qualities as well as the important role that it plays within our cultural habitat. The project achieves its goal by elevating common, overlooked objects and spaces within the city of Providence, Rhode Island to the level of high art.

Proponents of a Living Wage ordinance are gearing up for a battle in Providence City Hall on Thursday, January 25.

The proposed ordinance has already been approved once, on December 21 of last year, when the departing council voted 8 to 6 (with one abstention) to approve the measure. Before the ordinance becomes binding, a second passage is required.
